About Us

The team has been performing as Temporary Measured since their debut at The Lewes Folk Festival in October 2016. 

The dances are done in clogs, in the north-west tradition that has its origins in the mill towns of Lancashire and Cheshire.  You will find us in our striking new costume of black trousers, white shirt and red waistcoat which is a great favourite with the dancers and audience alike. We are accompanied by a talented band of musicians who play a selection of popular traditional tunes.
